Nutrition Education

About Our Meals

MOW Yolo meals are prepared by our Food Services team under Registered Dietitian guidance to meet the nutrition standards set forth by the Older Americans Act (OAA). Each meal is designed to provide at least one-third of the recommended daily dietary intake for seniors and complies with the latest Dietary Guidelines for Americans.

Whether delivered to a participant's doorstep or shared with friends in a Café Yolo Social Dining or Café Yolo To-Go setting, each frozen, hot, or shelf-stable meal offers a healthy, hearty, and inviting nutrition experience, supporting independence and dignity for program participants.
