Volunteer meal delivery drivers use their own vehicles to deliver meals and provide social contact to seniors in Yolo County cities and rural areas. A typical route is efficiently organized within a few adjacent neighborhoods and includes approximately a dozen stops.

Drivers must have a valid California Driver’s License, a clean DMV record, proof of automobile insurance, and be at least 21 years of age. Drivers may work with a partner or alone.

Position details:

Deliveries occur on Mondays, Tuesdays (rural), Wednesdays, and Thursdays
Most routes are approximately 90-minutes completed between 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Commitment may be 1x/week, 2x/week, 1x/month, and/or as a substitute driver
