Sustaining Seniors: Eat Well, Age Well
Sustaining Yolo County's rapidly growing senior population by sustaining MOW Yolo to create healthier outcomes for Yolo County seniors, prioritizing nutritious food security and socialization in our cities and rural communities.
We had the pleasure of sitting down with Dierdre, one of MOW Yolo’s meal recipients, to learn more about her situation and how MOW Yolo is helping. In 2025, MOW Yolo is providing more than 1,000 aging adults in the region, just like Dierdre, with the opportunity to age in place safely and with dignity. However, resources to sustain this impact are increasingly scarce, as one-time pandemic-era support has ended and threats abound to ongoing federal funding. Your donations of funds, time, and talent provide needed sustenance so MOW Yolo can continue to pursue:
- Fresh, local nutritious food
- Medically-tailored and culturally-appropriate meals
- Expanded congregate dining options
- More rural meal access
Let’s Sustain Seniors to Eat Well, Age Well together in Yolo County in 2025!
