Meal Connection Aide
Meal Connection Aide
Meal Connection Aides serve as a vital point of contact and support within our volunteer network, with opportunities available in both Greeter and Kitchen Aide roles.
Greeter (Morning and Afternoon Shifts):
Greeters are the first point of contact for Delivery Driver volunteers. Morning Aides greet Delivery Drivers, provide route directions and instructions, and assist with loading meals into vehicles. Afternoon Aides assist with unloading vehicles, collecting route materials, and providing other support as needed.
Kitchen Aide (Woodland or Winters Meal Production Facilities):
Kitchen Aides support our meal preparation process at our Woodland or Winters facilities. Flexible shifts are available Monday through Thursday, between 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Responsibilities include assisting with food preparation, such as chopping vegetables and wrapping bread, loading and packing hot and cold meals into transport containers, managing the hot/cold food lines to ensure accurate portioning, preparing and organizing cold packs, and helping with dishwashing and kitchen cleanup.
