HOME-DELIVERED MEALS
Recipients enjoy five healthy, freshly prepared frozen meals provided weekly via one or more doorstep deliveries. The most vulnerable seniors on the program additionally are provided with shelf-stable "Weekend Food Project" meals twice monthly, to sustain them on days when frozen meals are not provided. Some recipients with pet dogs and/or cats also may be able to receive MOW PAWS (Pets and Well Seniors) pet food deliveries on a biweekly basis.
Most deliveries are facilitated by volunteers, supplemented by staff-driven routes. Meals generally arrive between 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Most meal recipients are age 60+ and experiencing difficulty with accessing food and preparing meals for a variety of reasons.

DELIVERY OPTIONS BY COMMUNITY
Woodland, West Sacramento, Davis, Winters, Yolo, and Zamora:
Most seniors in these communities receive two meal deliveries each week, intended for seniors who are isolated, low-mobility, and lacking the assistance of and social interaction with family members or other caregivers.
Twice weekly meal deliveries arrive as follows:
- Mondays – three frozen meals
- Thursdays – two frozen meals
- Wednesdays – Weekend Food Project or MOW PAWS deliveries (if applicable)
Seniors in Woodland and West Sacramento who are living with or receiving regular visits from a family member or caregiver may be best aligned with one delivery a week, prioritizing nutrition access over social contact.
Once-a-week deliveries arrive on Wednesdays
All other Rural/Unincorporated Yolo County locations:
Once-a-week delivery is offered to all seniors living outside of an incorporated city. Delivery schedules are as follows:
- Clarksburg, Capay Valley and Knights Landing – five frozen meals on Wednesdays
- Dunnigan - five frozen meals on Tuesdays
- Esparto - five frozen meals on Thursdays
